Hi,

As per your complain burning sensation of the oesophagus along with painful swallowing or Dysphagia and feeling of food struck in throat and pain in the centre of chest seems most probably due to Acid reflux that has led to inflammation of the food pipe or oesophagus leading to Reflux Esophagitis.

I would suggest you to consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like upper GI Endoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly. You can be advised to take Proton Pump Inhibitors like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole.

Take antacids like Milk of magnesia. Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water. Always take walk after meals and take your dinner at-least 2 hours before sleep. Do moderate workout. Take more or probiotics like Yoghurt in diet. You should sleep with head slightly raised as compared to feet.

Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks and regards,
Dr. Honey Nandwani Arora
