Hi,

As per the history of burning and itching feeling in feet, did you try applying the skin moisturizer? Most times it is due to dry skin. But let's look it in other way. Burning sensation can be due to even excess of uric acid.

Are you having any burning sensation in the urine? Have you got the uric acid test done? if not please do it so we can rule this out. The third angle happens with the nerve root entrapment in the lumbar spine lower level regions like L5 and S1 which may be the cause of the burning and itching both.

It may have additional symptoms like tingling, numbness and pain. Based on the above method of ruling the one by one possible causes we can come to a conclusion. Please try the cream first. if not better then uric acid test.

If uric acid test negative then the third call of MRI of lumbar spine to assess the nerve root entrapment. Treatment will be guided accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
