Suggest Treatment For Bump On Penis

I have a small bump on my penis. It s kind of shiny but it won t pop. It looks like it s under the skin. It doesn t hurt unless I squeeze it or put pressure on it. I m nervous. I plan on going to a doctor but I m nervous about what this is. Never had a bump down there in my life?

Dear thanks for the question.

Firstly I would like to advise you not to hesitate visiting a doctor. It seems that you have got infection in hair root or glands (sweat, sebum) just below the skin. However you should have mentioned sexual history. (I presume you didn't have unsafe sex ).

You need to take a course of antibiotic(azitromicin 500 mg once a day for three days/ amoxacillin 500mg three times a day for three days) along with anti inflammatory (ibuprofen).

I wish you rapid recovery.
