Suggest Treatment For Bullos Pemphigoid
hello. i am a 56 year old female diagnosed with bullous pemphigoid in Feb. 2013. i have been on immunosuppressants since then but continue to have outbreaks. is there anything new/cutting edge that s better? this treatment is giving me very little relief. i take celcept and apply a topical steroid. please help.

As per your case history of Bullous Pemphigoid, my treatment advice is:
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-B cream twice daily on affected skin.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily.
4. Other treatment options are Oral steroid, Dapsone, Azathioprine and Cyclophosphamide given only after consulting a dermatologist.
