Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 89 yr old mother woke up with one black eye and then it got worse the next day. We took her to doctor and everything was fine was told to ice. Today I noticed there is color again like a bruise on her other eye. My mother is in exceptional good health due to discipline and eating well and aqua size. She is 113lbs. I m going to take her to the doctor again I m concerned it may be her blood but confused as to why this is happening under her eyes again. It s not like a skin irrational. What could this be? Thank you if you can help. Signed concerned daughter
Gently massage the area surrounding the bruise (not the black eye itself) in the days following the injury. This may help activate the lymphatic system near the bruise and speed up the healing process.
