Suggest Treatment For Bruising On Stomach Caused By An Accident

A couple days ago I had a bad bike (bicycle) accident. It s electric so i was speeding a bit and I crashed, I fell and somehow i hit the rright side of my sstomach and got a pretty nasty bruise. Now I m a little worried. It s gotten a little bigger within a couple of days and is reddish purple. Is that normal? Should I do something to speed up the healing process a bit?

Welcome to HCM
I have read and understood your query
I appreciate your health concern
Bruise is a bleed into the skin due to damage to a superficial vessel.Once a bruise is formed,it may take three to four weeks to disappear completely. In my opinion there is nothing to worry about.you just need to wait patiently for it to go.No need to take any medication for the bruise only if you did not have any other symptoms after the accident. However if it keep on increasing, get a CBC done to check the number of platelets and see your physician.,
I hope this is useful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help
