Suggest Treatment For Bruised Toes Caused By Injury

Last year, I bruised six toes. This year on my job, I hit 3 of the same toes on a lage bag of rice that was sitting on the kitchen floor. They are swollen and the tips are red and purple. It hurts when I put on shoes and hurts to walk sometimes. Ibp helps a little but it s been two weeks since it happened. I noticed on my other foot, two of those are bruising. Should I go to the hospital

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Bruising of toes is expected after trauma.
However, spontaneous bruising or bruising with any history of trauma has to be investigated.
Give rest to the toes which have bore the trauma and do not wear shoes because closed shoe can increase pressure and thus cause pain.
The toes which has bruised spontaneously needs to be investigated.
Spontaneous bruising can occur due to low platelet counts or in disorders of coagulation system.
Consult your physician for further work up.

Thanks and take care
