Suggest Treatment For Bruised Toe

About a year ago I had bunion correction surgery. A few weeks ago I stubbed my big toe. It turned purple. I thought it was bruised. It is not swollen but tender when pressure is applied. If you press on it blood and or clear liquid comes out from under the toe. Is this normal? I am trying not to loose the nail as I am getting married in 3 and 1/2 months and am wearing open toe shoes.

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the tenderness on pressure over toe with clear liquid indicates cellulitis through bacterial infection secondary to chronic hematoma condition.

Guidelines for better recovery

- keep the toe clean with antiseptic liquid or soap
- sterile dressing with polymycin cream
- prescription of antibiotics as cephalosporin or others anti inflammatory medicines as diclofenac, proteolytic enzymes as serratiopeptidase.
