Suggest Treatment For Bruised And Painful Knee And Elbow

About four weeks ago I fell and landed hard on my (R) knee and (L) elbow. Both became areas became bruised. The bruising has gone away but now I am experiencing an occasional pain running down the outer part of my (R) leg from the knee down and I also have a tender spot on my (L) elbow (especially when resting my elbow down on a hard surface). I have not seen my primary care doctor because I felt if anything was broken, it would have become swollen and more painful. Should I be concern now that it is almost 4 weeks since the injury and everything isn't fine or is it not unusual for injuries from a fall to take quite a while to heal? Thank you!

Hello,
Its possible for hair line fractures to present late even weeks after injury. If I were your treating doctor I would advise xrays of your right knee and left elbow to rule out fracture.
Hope I have answered all your queries. If you have any further questions I would be happy to help.
