Suggest Treatment For Bruise On My Leg

I bruised my leg, it ts the front of my leg, between the ankle and the knee( right in the middle) not sure what is the name of that bone, that was a week ago, at first it got swollen then I put some ice for 1 hour and the swelling went down some. It was somehow painful, from one to 10 I would say a 5, but then after 5 / 6 days ( this happened more than 1 week ago) it start been more painful. I cannot see a big black stain ( Hemaotoma) or blood clough, however, the lower part of the leg next to the ankle is slightly darker, also if I am standing the whole day it get worse, more swollen and more painful. Anything I should do?

1.apply cold compressions over the area.
2.elevate the bruised area while sleeping.
3.apply fusiderm ointment twice daily over the area for 7 days.
4.take analgesics like tablet ibuprofen twice daily for 7 days if you have pain.
thank you.
