Allergist and Immunologist 's  Response
Hello,

Thank you for asking at HCM.

I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:

1. I would suggest you allergy testing for common inhalants such as common pollens in your region, common molds and house dust mites.

This will help you to identify the substances you are allergic to and also to know the measures to avoid them.

2. For symptom control, I would suggest you to start montelukast 14 days before onset of your "bad season", i.e., around mid-March and continue it up to end of May.

3. In addition, I would suggest you to use salbutamol inhaler for symptoms of wheezing and breathing difficulties.

4. I would also suggest you to take adequate amounts of warm fluids during day and have a healthy diet for better immunity.

5. Based on allergy testing, an Allergist-Immunologist may prescribe you allergen specific immunotherapy which works on immune system to gradually improve allergy symptoms over a long time.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.

Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.

Wish you the best of the health ahead.

Thank you & Regards.
