I have recently taken a Z-Pack for bronchitis. At the time I also had a runny noise, cough, and been spitting up mucus. It s been 3 weeks and my nose is still runny and my throat, on the right hand side, became very sore and the glands are swollen as well. It s been 4 days with this sore throat and my right ear is now a little sore. I took Tussin DM cough syrup 3 hours ago to help with the pain of the sore throat. Is it ok to take Alka-Seltzer Plus cold and cough medicine now even though it s only been 3 hours. Or should I wait for another hour which will be 4 hours before taking the Alka-Seltzer Plus? I was going to lay down for the night and my sore throat is coming back that s why I was wondering if it be OK to take another kinda cold and cough medicine within the 3 hours so I can get some rest.
