Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
Bronchiectesis is chronic ,structural disease of lung causing dilated bronchi.
In this dilated bronchi, secretions tend to accumulate and cause infection and inflammation. These in turn cause more coughing and difficulty in breathing
So treatment of bronchiectesis is antibiotic, mucolytics , cough expectorant and inhaled bronchodilators.
Better to consult pulmonologist and get done chest x ray to rule out infection.
Newer mucolytics and expectorant are N Acetyl Cystiene (NAC), ambroxol and bromhexine. You may need inhaled treatment also.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
