Hello, I have a loved one who suffers from these almost involuntary and uncontrollable difficulty in breathing. It is almost as though her breaths are too shallow and inadequate at times. This symptom is not permanently there, but it is usually initiated during moments of excitement, road trips particularly over bridges/freeways/etc, and nervous or stressful conditions. We have endured this condition now for about 10 years, and while we have sought help during this time, we have not found a substantive solution. Some medical professionals have suspected challenges with the Thyroid gland. We have also been told her nasal tract at times appears constricted. She also suffers acid reflux during these episodes. How can we better arrest and permanently solve this condition as it impedes and prevents her from associating and functioning fully. Thank you.
