my mother is diagnosed with carcinoma of breast her reports include clinical history
left breast lump _ ntoiced one month back
U/S breast -normal glandular tissue and intervening fibrous septa no duct dlatation . hypoechoic lesion measuring 1.6*1.3 cm , whitish irregular margins at 9'o clock position no vein engorgment axilla clean.

MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION

smear reveals sheetd scattered tumor cells showing nuclear pleomorphism hyperchromasia and abnormal chromatin pattern section from cell block preparation reveals fragments of malignanat epithelial cell clusters and sheet with heavy lymphocytic infiltration

diagnosis
FNAC of left breast :- malignant cells seen consistent with carcinoma breast

Hello ,
Breast cancer is treated with mastectomy ( removing of the breast ) and lymph dysection ( removing of the axillar lymph nodes ) . You should see a surgeon and consult for preoperative cancer staging . After surgery is performed , oncology specialist will decide whether chemotherapy is needed .
