Suggest Treatment For Breast Cancer In An Elderly Person

My mother had ovarian cancer which was caught early as did 2 of her sisters and 3 cousins of mine and an aunt on each side of the family had breast cancer. I am 60, is it my right to request having my ovaries out? My five sisters all had theirs out with their YYYY@YYYY

Yes, that would be a reasonable request if you have one of the BRCA gene mutations. I suggest that you first get genetic testing before you request a surgery.
