Suggest Treatment For Borderline Glaucoma

I had borderline glaucoma & some nerve damage diagnosed two years ago. The glaucoma is hereditary....I also have a slight cataract and thin lenses.......My ophthalmologist has had me on Timolol .05, once a day in the AM......He said he could preserve my eyesight well into my 80's.....(I am now 66 and very alone)......I have recently developed a blind spot in my left eye, my ophthalmologist did Not increase the Timolol, he did Not do anything......He said eye vitamins & nutrients won't help either........Please help me...1. WHAT would other ophthalmologists do in this case? 2. Could Cannabis Oil help? 3.What would you do if it were you? Thank you.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
what ophthalmologist has said is corect. timolol drop is good. now follow up for glaucoma is important. fundus examination, field tracing mesuring cupdisc ratio isimportant. drugs available are oral and topical and surgical option. right mthing your doctor has said is preservation of vision for a long time. antiprostaglandin drops are used, and surgery like trabiculectomy can be considered. ofcourse your doctor is the best guide.
