Suggest Treatment For Boils On The Shoulder And Fever

Hi.im a teenager about a week before i noticed that small penny sized boils were emerging at my left shoulder,i immedietly popped it ,some amount of pus drained out.two days later the same thing happened on my right shoulder so i did the same thing those boils drained pus and blood but stopped coming back. A few days later a boil emerged on the inner side of my left thigh but this was bigger than compared to the others and more painful too. I popped it aswell a noticable amount of pus drained out along with some blood. I treated it with an alcohol solvent to make sure its treated properly to prevent infection. About 24 hours past that it started swelling again and the skin around it started reddening, today i lanced it with a sterile needle to its core a lot of pus came out again from the same boil and blood too. I have been treating it with an antibiotic cream aswell. Ieven applied firm pressure to it to make sure that all the pus drained out .and kept on doing that till no pus came out but some kind of transparent liquid drained out along with some blood. I desperately want to get rid of it please guide me to treat it correctly so it doesnt emerge again as it is extremely painfull and irritating. I am not taking any meds.i dont have a fever if that helps. Ps:by popping it i actually meant squeezing it . The last boil is the one i actually lanced. Any help would be much much appreciated

The basic concept of getting rid of infected boil/ abscess just by popping doesn't meet the required action. After pus formation in any such lesions, the required action is to drain the pus. Not only drain which you did by needling or popping but the pouches ( pockets) formed inside the lesion should be broken by inserting a blunt probe and circulating it. That's why surgeons incise first and then drain.

Antibiotics should be taken as per advise of your surgeon to treat the infection.

In the context, I would say in Ayurveda there are Panchgun and Jatyadi oils ( herbal classical oils) which are used to heal without breaking pockets or incising. It cleanses wounds and heal also simultaneously. Time taken to heal is not more than what would be in minor surgery. Antibiotics, analgesics also not needed.

It should not recur, in Ayurveda we give Manjishtha, Neem and Haridra pure herbal capsules for 4-6 weeks.

Hope it helps you.
