Suggest Treatment For Body Odor And Acne

age:27, height:180cms, weight:68

From the past 4 years i have been having very bad odour from my body(especially armpits). Just after taking bath it starts and gets worse in air conditioners. Wherever I go, I find people around putting their fingers, directly or indirectly, over their noses. It has taken a toll over my confidence big time. Professionally, its affecting my career like anything...had narrowed my social circle. I have a lot of hair over my body(back and chest), have tried removing it but even that did not help, I shave my armpits regularly. I have been to various dermatologists, but haven't seen much difference with the medication, which generally includes antibiotics. Deodrants or antiperspirants have been making things worse. I am a vegetarian and seldom eat junk food. I have had have constipation in the past and present and get acne problems from time to time. Lately, I have realized that my memory has excessively deteriorated. I find myself unable to remember any new things. Can you suggest possible measures

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lot of body odor and acne which is becausee lots of hormonal changes that would occur in the body. Prolactin, FSH, LH etc are hormones that undergo variety of changes. You need to get evaluated and monitor hormone levels and any hormonal changes are causing this problem in you. Apply vitamin E oil at night. . You should start with use of topical antibacterial clindamycin gel as a spot treatment for acne during day time and at night you may use a topical retinoid. Avoid greasy creams ,use water based products. If acne still persists consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe ointments containing benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid or retinoids

Hope your concern has been resolved.
