Suggest Treatment For Blood Clots On My Eye

Hello my question is about my moms eye issue yesterday she woke up with her left side bloodshot but it was only half of the eye closest to the nose it looks extremely red even looks like it could blood clots what could this mean and why was it an over night thing but there is no pain either!

it looks like your mother had subconjunctival heamorrage, it could be due to some minor trauma (finger nail) or sudden rise in B.P in a hypertensive patients , blood thinners like aspirin , persistent cough , constipation can also give rise to a SCH. its a relatively harmless condition by itself , but underlying cause needs to be investigated.
by the time antibiotics eye drops and topical nsaid (flurbiprofen) can be instilled tid . vit c (OD) tablets can help too.
All SCH takes 2-3 weeks to resolve , have patience , and in the mean time if she has developed pain please consult and ophthalmologist.
