I have a constantly blocked, but not runny, nose. I sneeze frequently, there doesn t seem to be a pattern of when and where. When I blow my nose hard to unblock it I can taste blood in the back of my throat. When I sleep eg on my left side my right nostril gets unblocked and vice-versa. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The symptoms are more likely suggestive of allergic rhinitis. As a first line management you can try nasal decongestant drops and antihistamines for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. You can also try steam inhalation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
