my left eyelid has been swollen due to blepharitis for the past 4 years, i went to ophthalmologists and a couple dermatologists. all of them except my current derm tried to treat me with using topic antibiotics and compresses and the occasional steroid. but none of it helped. so my current deem and i decided its not caused by bacteria, but he beleives it to be caused by seborrheic dermatitis, so his treatment method was to simple rub some head and shoulders dandruff shampoo in my eyelids once a day, and i have a good feeling that its not going to do anything. I ve been doing it for a month and still no results. it hasn t changed in 4 years, i mean it shrinks sometimes and get worse sometimes, almost like the same pace as the moon cycle. do you have any suggestions?
