General & Family Physician 's  Response
dear friend have you got her investigated for lupus
her condition seems more like cutaneous lupus and associated autoimmune connective tissue diseases HCQ is not used to treat simple achne
please share her symptoms in detail
if she has irritation of skin in sun
does she have a butterfly like rash on her face
etc then it will be possible to rule out many thing and if she has only achne it can be treated such
the best course of action would be to have her examined by a rheumatologist
