Suggest Treatment For Bipolar Disorder

My son is Bipolar Mania and Skitsophrinic (spP. He is currently on a mania and although he has been doing this since the age of 17, he is now 26, now it appears to be directed to me. I am his caregiver. the one who pulls him out of bouts with the legal system, makes things right and over and over again picks up the pieces. yesterday I was who he said he wanted to kill. Would my son do anything like this when he is normal, no, however, I am frightened as I have seen him do many things over the years trhat being sane he would never do. How do I convince the Psch ward to keep him in long enough to get him back to normal instead of pushing him out the door and compounding the problems?

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

In that case, you have to talk to hospital staff about his problem and treatment history. You have to tell them his current situation and severity of bipolar disorder. If he does not take medication, then he needs in patients facility and for that better to talk to his doctor for proper mental evaluation and admission. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
