Suggest Treatment For Bilateral Primary Open Angle Glaucoma
hi doctor, am Sandra, my husband had bilateral primary open angle glaucoma and had been managing it for the past 14 years with eye drops and a surgery which was done in 2012. but the problem now is that his right eye failed in july even though he is using his eye drops and the left eye as well failed completely last 2 weeks. he cant see anything with right eye and at times he see shadows with the left eye.1my question is this, is there anything that could be done to both eyes or at least to the left eye to reverse it because he is too young to be blind.

Since the treatment is failed and he has lost vision in one eye, the other needs regular monitoring of intraocular pressure. The vision lost because of glaucoma us not reversible hence treatment should be aggressive to prevent blindness.
