Hello and thank you for using HCM.I carefully read your question and I understand your concern. You shoud not worry .I'll try to explain you something and give you my opinion.

You should know that cholesterol target levels depends on some factors like your age, other concomitant risk factors like hypertension, diabetes and hereditary lipidic problems.

The normal cholesterol levels in general, whithout other associated rics factors is below 180 mg / dl and ldl below 130 mg / dl.

To lower your cholesterol levels fist you should modify your diet. You have to avoid high cholesterol food and have a healthy diet.

Avoid fast foods, pizza white bread, sweeties and increase vegetables, salad.
Of course it is important to have nealy 40 minutes thith regular physical activity each day.

If you already do sow, as you say you have a healthy diet than I must say that we have nothing yo wait by lifestyle modification.

In this case, whith this cholesterol level it is necessary to start medical treatment.

If you wore a patient at my clinin I would start a statine class medication to lower chesterol and repeat a blood analyze after 1 month to discuss the right dosage.

Hope I was helpful.Wish you good health.
Best regards.
