Suggest Treatment For Bad Taste In The Mouth And Throat Soreness Due To Throat Infection
Before Christmas I had a blocked tube which runs between my ear and throat (can t remember what it s called). This lasted a good 6 weeks and I was given a variety of antibiotics to try and cure it. It has been ok for about 5 months and now I ve found a white spot at the back of my throat which the dr has said is a throat viral infection and has given me a course of amoxocillan. I also have a funny taste in my mouth and apart from some soreness on the right side of my throat and in my right ear, I m in no pain. In what way can I stop getting this again?

Noted your history of development of Eustachian tube problem, white spot in the throat, Doctor said this to be due to viral and prescribed Amoxicillin, have now funny taste in mouth and soreness right side of throat and ear, no pain as such.
Since you have got repeated viral infection this indicates that you have got multiple contacts may be at workplace with people suffering from viral infection.
Your reduced immunity may be another cause for repeated problems.
This affects all the nose, sinus, Eustchian tube and ears, throat and so on.
Hence you are getting some or the other problems related to upper respiratory tract.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Increase the immunity through good diet, immunity enhancing fruits and so.
Avoid contacts with people having changes of viral fever.
Take rest and off the work for some time for you to get over the problems.
Continue the medicines as is already advised by your Doctors.
