OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Bacterial vaginosis in pregnancy should be treated with metrinidazole drug which is given for 7 days. Bacterial vaginosis should be effectively treated as if untreated, it increases the chances of preterm labour and delivery.
I would suggest her to consult an OBGYN specialist for further management.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
