Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Nagging back pain from waist up to shoulders. Focused mostly in the middle of my back. Comes and goes. Lasts 3 to 4 days at a time. Occasional sharp jabbing type pain when certain movement occurs. Is enhanced when I sit for half to one hour at a time.
Seems acute ligament spasm involving paraspinal region as there is jabbing during certain movements and sitting for half to one hour at time giving particular compression over the definite vertebra levels.
Following would help best way to cure at earliest: - Restrict physical exercises to avoid sudden bending or weight lifting - Remain ambulatory and avoid bed ridden positions as well over a long period of times - Muscle relaxants as chlorzoxasone or others with analgesic medicine - Local spray or ointment application of Linseed oil with methylsalicylic acid - Consult your doc as per the progress of the pain or further symptoms development
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
