Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Stress

Hello Doctor. For as long as I can remember I have had anxiety attacks and worry and stress about most things. Bottling up things most of the time. I lead a typical lad lifestyle, the occasional binge drink at the weekend, but not over excessive. I'm coming up to 40th birthday shortly. I've been suffering from a racing heart rate, which seems to speed up and slow as quick as it starts it stops and carry's on until I finally sleep, I also feel a bit bloated and have trouble swallowing, It tends to be worse of a night time and when I've done a workout at the gym. I've had all the tests 24hr tapes, multiple ECGs, blood tests but all come back fine, apart from that my heart seems to add a extra beat, throwing my body out??? but I'm still worried that they might be missing something and they are now thinking of signing off as they don't see any major problems. They prescribed Bisprolol, but I want to know further, as my uncle and grandfather died of mass heart attacks at the age of 50?? So I'm concerned and want to catch whatever it is now. Please help me, as I'm a nervous wreck when its bedtime.

We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Such a health related anxiety can definitely trigger anxiety, when you have two experiences of massive heart attacks in your family. But, can you provide a solution? Every doctor will test you according to their knowledge and wisdom. Your doctors did all the tests and they said you are OK. Fine. You should believe them and believe you are perfect.

Everyone are hopeful. Exercise, nutritious food, good life habits, laughing etc are told to be supplements to augment disease free life. But who can be so sure? One more thing you can do is to find a good cardiologist. You should use every available option to find the cardiologist of your choice. then, let him check you. Once he also says you are alright, you should leave the anxiety about your health.

To do that, you may consult a psychologist. Psychologist will educate you about anxiety and teach you psychotherapy techniques to overcome anxiety.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
