Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Depression

My husband has been very different toward me last few weeks. He finally told me tonight that he feels empty.. He doesn't know why he feels this way. He did say his brain is going 90 to nothing. Could this be something physical? I'm pretty sure he could be depressed/anxious...I don't know what to do to help him. I want my husband back. He has a hard time talking about emotional things. He is very intelligent and I'm very worried. What should I do to help him?
