Hello,

You are having disc protrusion at L4-5 level, which can cause compression of L4 or L5 nerve root compression. To avoid untoward harmful effects of disc protrusion, you should:
- Avoid forward bending
- Avoid lifting weight more than 3 kg
- Avoid squat position
- Avoid riding bike or sudden jerk on back
- Take physiotherapy help for diathermy, stretching exercise and soft tissue traction
- You can take tablet Pregabalin, multivitamins, calcium after prescription
- If still no relief, you must consult spine surgeon for evaluation and need of surgery.
Surgery might be needed if significant disc with no pain relief, weakness of feet or legs.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
