Suggest Treatment For Ankle Pain With Fever
I don t recall hurting my ankle or leg. Felt some slight pain, went to bed and woke up in severe pain that has gotten worse. It s slightly swollen but foot, ankle hurts with pain shooting up through lower leg all the way to the knee. I now have a fever to go along with it.

Good evening. It looks like a reactive arthritis or a septic arthritis. You need to see a rheumatologist.the pain and fever could be due to an infection in the ankle joint which is called septic arthritis. As for reactive it normally.occurs after the infection subsides but it can cause single joint swelling along with fever
