General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Since, the fissure-in-ano is present for more than 3 months and developed post pregnancy the cause was obvious. This should have been healed by now after delivery.

If this has not healed in spite of homeopathy treatment, then I would advise you the following in such a situation:
- Sitz bath in a tub with warm water
- Stool softener and laxatives to keep the stools soft
- Consult a General Surgeon for examination, and prescription-based medications like antibiotics, metronidazole, probiotics, and local ointment can be taken

If this does not help you, anal dilation or sphincterotomy may give you permanent relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
