Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a severe reaction to either soma or a bee sting which resulted in a severe burning sensation all over my body...no itching but broke out in blisters over 50 percent of upper body..the ER could not ID the cause but Although the burning has gone ...the blisters and rawness of open wounds remain
You can use Hydrocortisone 1% cream topically on the blisters. One tablet of Cetirizine (Zyrtec) can be used before going to bed for two days.
If an open blister showed signs of infection (increased swelling, pain, pus discharge) you can use topical antibiotic such as fusidic acid (Fucidin cream).
