Suggest Treatment For An Infected Thumb

Can you prescribe an antibiotic for an infected thumb, which we finally got down to an almost clear discharge. It is sometimes still a little greenish to milky color. It was green/yellow and we kept putting infection cream on it. The thumb is still swollen. It started 5 months ago when our dog bit him and broke the thumb. The hospitals never fixed it and sent him home when they found out I no longer had insurance.

For treatment of an infected thumb you can take some antibiotic like ampoxin or cefadroxyl after an expert opinion along with combiflam or ibugesic-plus to reduce swelling and inflammation. You can use soframycin cream or neosporin powder for local application. Don't worry it will be fine soon.
