Suggest Treatment For Amenorrhea, Excessive Thirst, Tiredness And Weight Loss

I m a mother of 4-year-old daughter. I m always hot, thirsty, have amenorrhea, and keep unintentionally losing weight. I eat 3 real meals a day, as well as doubling the amount of instant breakfast in my milk, and a couple protein shakes a day. Yet I remain thin as a rail. Sometimes I get very, very tired. Any ideas on a diagnosis?

Hi,

Your all symptoms are suggestive of thyroid diseases like hyperthyroidism. So better to consult physician and get done thyroid function test (TFT - free T3, Free T4 and TSH). You need to get done this report in morning in fasting stat.

Another possibility is hormonal imbalance. You might be having imbalanced female reproductive hormones which causes amenorrhea and other symptoms. So get done detailed hormone levels. You may need Carbimazole and hormone pills depending on reports and diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
