Suggest Treatment For Allergy After Taking Norflox

HI LAST WEEK, I HAD LOOSE MOTION. I STARTED NORFLOX TZ TAB ONE TAB TWICE DAILY. ON THE 2ND DAY ALLERGY CAME UP. I STOPPED NORFLOX TZ AFTER TAKING 5 TABLETS, MY LIPS, INNER FACE AND PENIS HAVE BEEN EFFECTED. I AM NOW TAKING CITZEN ONE TAB DAILY . BUT I AM VERY MUCH SUFFERING FROM THE BLISTERS AND BURNING SENSATION

Hello,

If you've had skin lesions and itching and an allergic reaction is the most likely cause. If the allergy is confined to the skin then it's not very serious - albeit very annoying. If you have a lump in your throat, breathing difficulty or faintness then you should visit the ER at once!

Otherwise, an antihistamine medication like cetirizine may help. If the allergy won't get better with a single daily dosage then sometimes I may advise my patients to take it twice daily. In the more resistant cases, corticosteroids may be required but you should see a doctor before that.
