I have been having sinus troubles for the last 4 years. I have been diagnosed with allergic rhinits, but when i took a skin prick test i was not found to have a significant reaction to any of the possible irritants. Lately i have I have been feeling a tightness in the upper left abdomen area when I try to inhale, whilst my sinuses are congested. Should i be concerned?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have allergic rhinitis which is due to infection in sinuses. It could be due to exposure to allergens. I would suggest you to avoid exposure to allergen. Take combination of antihistaminics and mast cell stabilizers as it will give immediate relief and booster your immunity. You should take steam inhalation on daily basis. Do gargle with saline rinses. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Go for paranasal sinus X-ray. Start treatment after proper prescription. Take proper course of antibiotics.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
