Suggest Treatment For Aggressive Behavior While Having ADHD

My 12 yr old, 5 9, 113 lbs; diagnosed with ADHD, Anxiety and Autism PDD, NOS he is on Concerta, 54mg (am) and Respiridone .5mg (am) and he takes 1 MG at night. He possibly had an increase on Respiridone by .5 due to Dad and I are divorced and miss communicated it. Since the prescription renewal his behavior is aggressive and he is defiance has increased. Is there anyway to know if the 2 meds counter act each other?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This combination has been used for ADHD and autistic kids, the side effects may aggravate like increased aggressiveness, I would suggest a parent technique to handle these behaviors will be of much benefit. And check with your psychiatrist, do not self modify the doses.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
