Suggest Treatment For Adenoid Hypertrophy

Hello Sir, My daughter age 8 years weight 20 kg has been detected with enlargement of adenoids several times in last 1-2 years. There is also a frequent infection of on tonsils. Due to these two issues she has been suffering from frequent fevers (almost once in every 6 weeks) and is being treated with standard antibiotics frequently .. Recently an ENT had suggested to operate the Tonsils and Adenoids and we are concerned whether to carry this operation. Can you kindly help us clarify 1) What precautions she will have to take after operation for whole life ? 2) She is fond of swimming. Will she be able to do that ? 3) Can we wait couple of years and avoid this operations as the body matures and increase the immune system ?
