adema virus symptoms and treatment

Jay is 4 years old he had the "flu" for five days hes been laying around and sleeping without eating.we took him to the dr. and he said it was adema or possibly kawasaki disease. we are taking him to er if his fever spikes again (it was 104 4 days ago) What are symptoms and treatment for adema?

I can not understand by what you with the word "adema" do you want to say edema.
High grade fever of five days with and at least four of these symptoms-
redness in both eyes
changes around the lips, tongue, or mouth
changes in the fingers and toes, such as swelling, discoloration, or peeling
a rash in the trunk or genital area
a large swollen lymph node in the neck
red, swollen palms of hands and soles of feet indicates Kawasaki disease.


Treatment is symptomatic with gammaglobulin.
