Suggest Treatment For Acute Jaundice And Low BP

hello doctor !! My wife is suffering from acute jaundice. Currently iam not with her, so i am not aware of the reports. but she had low bp, high fever, body pain and eyes became yellowish. she referered to a doctor and undergoing treatment. they had given medicines and glucose was given. the bilirubin level was 35. is it very serious?

Yes this is serious... Her bilirubin is very high (normal bilirubin is below 1 usually)

It's better if you remain with her at this time

She can have viral hepatitis infection

I need following reports for giving further comment...
_HAV, HEV, HBSAG ELISA
_sgpt, sgot
_USG abdomen scan
_urine urobilinogen and bilirubin level

According to this report further comment given

For jaundice take low fat diet

Fruits and green leafy vegetables taken more

Take sugar cane juice, Apple juice, coconut water etc more

Fried food not taken for few days

Udiliv 300 mg usually prescribed in jaundice

Take care
