General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Acute epididymo orchitis is inflammation or infection of the testis and epididymis. What the doctor has prescribed is right and kindly take the medications as prescribed. Most of the times, this condition is curable completely with proper medication. Once cured, it does not affect fertility.
Kindly give scrotal support for 2 weeks and avoid any form of sexual activities during this period.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
