I m a healthy active 36 yr old male that was diagnosed with acute diverticulitis on July 5Th after confirming with CT scan with dye, after 4 weeks of different medication / antibiotics. Needless to say last 4 weeks liquid diet minimal signs of improvement till 1 week ago started feeling a lot better, no more chills no more awful feeling now still sore to sit for a period of time, seems like my abdominal just below my navel is swollen and tender to touch but nothing like it was, is this normal is it still healing, I just want to be 100% normal for my kids and be able to be the man I used to be without this abdominal pain it s getting better but is this normal , thank u
