Suggest Treatment For Acute Bronchitis

I was told I had a URI 2 weeks ago. Have been taking cough syrup with codeine. Started breaking out in hives after day 3 of cough syrup. Stopped taking syrup and got on prednisone. 5 days after my last dose of cough syrup, still breaking out in hives. Went to hospital again, 3 days ago, have acute bronchitis with pleurisy. Been on Levofloxacin and today started feeling sick to my stomach and broke out in hives 3 times today. What is wrong here?

Hi,

Firstly, I would like to ask:
1. Is there any sputum coming out of the mouth or with the cough?
2. Is there any pain in the stomach?
3. Is there any fever?
4. Do you have much difficulty in breathing?

I would like to give some tests:
1. Chest X-Ray
2. Chest CT
3. Complete Blood Test
4. Spirometry
5. Sputum Culture (if sputum is present)

I would like to suggest treatment:
1. Antibiotics:
Azithromycin and After Azithromycin, start Levofloxacin.
2. Guaifenesin.
3. If there is difficulty in breathing:
Ipratropium
4. If there is fever or weakness or body ache due to cough: Paracetamol when needed
