Hi,

Acne vulgaris is a common skin problem occuring in tenage age. Multiple factors may be responsible. Stress, anxiety, oily food, sun exposure,sleeplessness,dandruff...etc. Hormonal imbalance might be responsible. You consult dermatologist for the firm diagnosis. I would suggest as below...

- antibiotics like azithromycine and minocycline
- isotretinoin in low dose
- adapalene, benzoyl peroxide or clindamycine gel
- cleansing soap or facewash like acmed

Have patience for the good result..

Thanks.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of acne with puss and discharge on face which are known as cystic acne which is severest form of acne and it occurs when a pore in your skin gets clogged, usually with debris, bacteria and dead skin cells and causing area to be red and swollen. I would suggest Apply benzoyl peroxide cream. You should wash your face using a clindamycin gel with mild soap and lukewarm water. It could be due to hormonal change during puberty , androgen hormones stimulate more sebum to be produced and a greater amount of skin cells to proliferateIf condition doesn't improve in a week then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe chemical peeling and laser therapy.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
