Suggest Treatment For Acne Scars On Face And Forehead

Hello Dr, first I have very sensitive skin, I react to anything and everything particularly after coming here in South Africa. I have pigmentation that developed after being on Roaccutane to treat acne. Now I have dark marks on the sides of my forehead. What can I use to lighten and even my face. I have a fair complexion. Please help. I have tried alot of face creams in SA but to no avail. Even skin peels, I just felt disappointed. Any advise.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have got post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and it seems to be due to the side effect of the ointment..
I would suggest you to stop using the cream and start washing your face with salicylic acid and glycolic acid containing facewash..
You can also start applying Kojic acid, glycolic acid and abutin..
You can also apply Azelic acid preparations..
Exfoliate your skin twice a week with a mild scrub..
You can also take Vitamin C and E supplements..
Limit sun exposure..
Drink plenty of water and take nutritious diet..
You can also go for treatments like Microdermabrasion, chemical peeling etc..
