Suggest Treatment For Acne On Face And Back

Hello doctor, Thanks for creating such a great forum! My name is Geetesh. I have moderate acne on my face and back.The main problem is that, now I m 33 years old still facing pimple problem - I believe the main cause is the Hormonal changes . i do follow balanced diet regularly. Recently consulted Kaya clinic, doctor has recommended Azee 500 Mg tab and Adapalene gel.I have not yet started the treatment. wanted to know whether this is the RIGHT treatment or not. Acne is the most complex form of disease I believe, If anything is wrong within our body, acne gets formed.One need to understand the holistic approach such as basic skin care, diet, plenty of water, exercise etc..But its little difficult to practice on daily basis.However, I would appreciate if one can guide me to follow the acne programm so that i can get out of acne.. Thanks in advance!

Hi Geetesh. You have been prescribed the right medicine by your dermatologist. Do continue that. You are partly right about skin care to control acne. Use a benzoyl peroxide (BPO) based cleanser regularly to clean your face and back. BPO has good antibacterial, keratolytic and anti-inflammatory properties. Also, add a BPO based gel.
Adapelene is one of the best topical medication for acne. if you use it regularly, it would help you get rid of acne. Hope it answers your queries.
