Suggest Treatment For Acidity
I have recently had laparoscopic cholecystectomy for low functioning gallbladder, have had hard time healing but have had hida scan to check for bile leak and ct with barium with nothing seen since surgery. Now am burning in abdomen, taking omeprazole and cimetidine and antacids to get little relief, this has been for two days and within diarrhea, any suggestions

I would suggest to rule out the infection first and it may be Helicobacter or it may be protozoa, generally such case some time can be treated with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 20 mg once in day. The dose needs to be taken in evening and this therapy should be continued for six weeks but antibiotic along with this needs to be continue for seven days (Tab Amoxicillin 500 mg and Tab Tinidazole 750 mg once in day).
